Most of the museums in Naoshima are closed on Mondays. Further, some museums are required to be booked on line. 

Please check the website of Benesse Art Site Naoshima for the details on the museums and art-sites in advance to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. 

Please note that using the Town Bus for a group of more than 10 people is NOT recommended as the bus is quite small (max. capacity of 28 people) and there are literally no rooms for suitcases and big travel bags.

Moreover, they are one of the main means of transportation for the local residents, so we should avoid the situation where those in need can’t use the buses.

We strongly recommend you to travel light to/in Naoshima by utilizing lockers/luggage storage services in bigger cities like Okayama/Takamatsu, or charter the bus for your group (you can park it at a municipal free parking lot right next to Tsutsujiso).

If you are going to use the town bus, please make sure to let us know in advance.
